My husband and I have our first anniversary on Sunday. I can't believe it has been one year since that day. It's crazy to me.
I've heard many people say the first year of marriage is the hardest, but in all honesty this year has been great. I can only hope that it continues. I know we will have hard times, but I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else!

All done! I remember the sense of relief at this point. I was nervous for the ceremony, I'm not a fan of being the center of attention!

The priest came to us when we were doing the receiving line and told us we had to sign the marriage license. It was kind of funny.

Popped the champagne open in the limo. The groomsmen somehow broke 2-3 glasses...the driver told us they were $50 per glass...luckily he was kidding :)

I loved the park we chose to take pictures in. So pretty and our photographer did an awesome job!

It was so hot that day, and super humid! The whole time we were outside I could feel the sweat running down my back. I'm so hot, I know....This is Don wiping my sweat.

We stopped by a bar/bowling alley. No one was bowling so Don and I decided it would be fun to bowl. He won but I think it was b/c I had a dress, no shoes, and fake nails. I was at a distinct disadvantage!

MIA

Sorry I have been MIA since last week...I had a horse show last week from Thursday til Sunday and now I am studying for my final which is tonight.
I will be back. I promise.
Oh-I have lost 7lbs in the last two weeks. I don't know if it is stress or my body finally deciding that it wants to be thinner :) I appreciate it none-the-less! I bought a pair of pants in a size 12 last night. It made my day (week, month, year)!
And to my new follower-Hi! I am not usually this lame :)

Five Question Friday

Hi all! Happy Friday! We don't have much for plans this weekend. I need to do some homework and hopefully its nice so we can go out and enjoy the weather...and if it isn't nice, then I will sit inside and do more homework :) I hope you all have a great weekend too! I still haven't done a post on the Twin's game last weekend, but it was awesome and the stadium is awesome. I will try and get to that next week! Catch ya'll later!
1. If you could go back to college would you change your major? Or, if you were to go to college right now...what major would you choose?
Nursing, Nursing, Nursing. I still think about going back to school one day to become a nurse. One of the few regrets I have in my life.


2. What do you love most about your home?
That we don't have to do yard work, and our neighbors. We live in a town home and right now it is perfect for us b/c we don't want to have to do yard work when we get home from work. (The association takes care of it). And our neighbors rock! There are 2 couples that we hang out with on a regular basis. We BBQ out in our driveways and play games. And the one couple just had a little girl and she is sooo cute, so I can get my baby fix whenever I need it :)


3. What types of books do you like to read (if you like to read at all)?
Chick lit. It has to have a good love story and a somewhat happy ending. I do like Nicholas Sparks despite the fact that his books don't always end super happy...

4. What is the grossest thing you've ever eaten?
Fish....all kinds. Hate it.

5. If you HAD to be a character on a TV show, whom would you be?
Umm....Rachel from Friends? I liked her character even if she was a ditz...and looking like Jennifer Aniston would be awesome. She's hot.
