Always a day behind...

I'm always a day behind, and I am in a funk so I don't feel like blogging...I hope you all are having a great week!

 

1. What is your favorite piece of furniture in your house? 

I love my bed, and I also love our over sized chair with the ottoman. It is so comfy. I like to sit there, read a book, and listen to the radio...Great day!

2. If it was raining so hard on a Saturday that you couldn’t leave your house, what would you spend the day doing? 

I would sleep late, watch TV, cook something yummy and cuddle with my husband. :)

3. What was your favorite candy as a child?

Oh, man, I love candy. Some that I can remember that I would indulge in are m&m's, red vines, snickers, and butterfingers.

4. Did you get an allowance? What was it based on? What did you do with it? 

Not really...my mom would give us money if she had it and we really wanted something but once I turned 16 it was get a job or don't go anywhere!

5. Do you have a favorite Etsy store? 

I have only been on Etsy a couple times but it overwhelms me so I don't have a favorite.

6. Do you prefer time with family or time with friends? 

I prefer time with my friends, mainly b/c I see my family (and the in-laws) more than my friends...and my mom is crazy and I can only handle so much time with her.

7. Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, or Animaniacs? 

Tiny Toons was super cute...

8. Best daytime talk show: Oprah, Ellen, The Doctors, Tyra (ha!), Dr. Oz, or Dr. Phil? Ellen...definitely, Ellen!

9. Would you rather have the power of invisibility or the ability to fly?Flying. I wouldn't have to buy gas for the car anymore! And there wouldn't be traffic!

10. Name 1 thing you love about being an adult? Doing what I want, when I want...and being married!

I love my husband :)

He sent me an orchid at work...but he didnt just order it. He bought it last night, brought it to his grandparents house and his grandpa brought it in this morning. How cute is that :) And we have a little notebook where we write little notes to one another and he put that in the box. I love that guy :)

Tuesday Ramblings....

Hello All!
How goes it? I am a lazy pile today, and I think it will continue on throughout the week. We are having some really craptastic weather here (lots of rain and cold) and it is making me want to be at home, curled up on the couch, watching bad daytime tv or napping. But instead I am hard at work (or hardly working...).
So I had my Weight Watchers meeting today and I realized I didn't update last week. I probably "forgot" b/c I had a bad week. I gained 1.4 lbs last week but lost that plus another 1.6 lbs for a total of 4 lbs this week. It was a good week :)
What else is going on...Not much...I'm boring. I want it to warm up! It is May and the high today is like 40 something degrees...that is crap.
Oh, I was super excited when I was listening to the radio today at work (K102 for those of you in MN, I love me some country music..) and I heard that Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are engaged!! I tried to find a pic of the ring but I couldn't. I think they are super cute together...

So anywho...That's all I have got for ya...I suppose I should go back to "work" now.

First horse show of the year

This will be a picture heavy post. :) I had my first horse show this past weekend at the State Fairgrounds here in MN. It was so much fun! My horse was awesome, and I have a feeling this is going to be a good year! I had 5 classes. I got two 1st places, one 3rd and one 6th. I think my horse was over it by Sunday afternoon and he was getting really tired, hence the 6th. But I had multiple people come up to me and say I got screwed in that class. But oh well.

My sister brought my nephew down on Friday. He is the cutest child on the planet (not that I am partial or anything). He was so happy all day, he slept on me in the coliseum and then decided when he woke up to eat the class list. Good God, he is adorable! :)
