Neglectful much?

Geez someone has been slacking on this blog! Wow...they need to get it together ;)
Ok, so I know I need to post about my vacation yet but I seriously haven't even looked at the pictures yet much less put them on Facebook (God forbid). I need to get on that!
Lately by the time I get home I dont want to look at a computer much less put pictures on Facebook or try and upload them onto blogger. Which, by the way, they need to come up with something a little more user friendly when it comes to putting a lot of pictures in a post!

But...in other exciting news. I got another horse!!! Last weekend at our horse show a girl who we show with offered me a horse that wasn't going to be great for what she wanted him for, but he is going to be an awesome riding horse! He is only a year old so we won't be riding him for a couple years but I am already SO excited about this little dude! Oh, did I mention he was FREE?!?! WTF? I love it! He is so beautiful, and so laid back, and so sweet. Especially for a baby. He acts like he's 6 not one! Excuse the poor, poor quality of these pictures they were taken with my phone. I will put better ones up when I get some.

 

He is just too cute!!! I love him already!

Other than that, nothing too exciting in my life! Next Friday one of my bff's and I are having a pool party (at a local outdoor waterpark) and I cant wait! The weather better freaking cooperate. :)

First horse show of the year

This will be a picture heavy post. :) I had my first horse show this past weekend at the State Fairgrounds here in MN. It was so much fun! My horse was awesome, and I have a feeling this is going to be a good year! I had 5 classes. I got two 1st places, one 3rd and one 6th. I think my horse was over it by Sunday afternoon and he was getting really tired, hence the 6th. But I had multiple people come up to me and say I got screwed in that class. But oh well.

My sister brought my nephew down on Friday. He is the cutest child on the planet (not that I am partial or anything). He was so happy all day, he slept on me in the coliseum and then decided when he woke up to eat the class list. Good God, he is adorable! :)

So there ya have it.... I had a great weekend but I was exhausted and sore and had a killer headache Monday morning so I skipped work :) I hope you all had a great weekend too!

Sorry I have been a slacker lately...Ive been a busy bee trying to prepare for my first horse show of the season that is this weekend. So much to pack and buy and get together...Good thing its so much fun :)
So I will hopefully take some pictures this weekend that I can post...I usually suck at taking pictures at the shows...But I will try!
You would think that after 20+ years of showing horses I wouldn't get that nervous pukey feeling anymore...But I have it right now!
