I almost didn't have the motivation to do this today. Luckily I am bored at work, and I have 45 minutes to kill.. :)
1. I'm a mechanical drafter. I don't love my job, and the only reason I decided to go to school to do this is b/c I knew it paid well. I was stuck as to what I wanted to do and I just wanted a job that didn't include working nights or weekends...I picked well but I can't wait to finish my Business degree in December and hopefully find something a little more interesting to me.
2. I own two horses. I have had Leo, the older one, for 6 years now and he is the best horse ever. I love him to pieces and it breaks my heart to think that someday he won't be here anymore. I've had Bug for about 2 months. He was a freebie who is going to be awesome when he grows up. I can't wait to see what he will do with his life in about 3 years!
3. I love country music and I always have, even when it wasn't cool to like it. I've seen multiple country acts in concert multiple times. Most recently Tim McGraw who we saw walking around back stage w/o a shirt on...Thank you Carlye for the picture that I stole off your Facebook :) (He is the one in the orange shorts)
4. I am finding this very difficult to come up with 9 things :)
5. If I ever win big at the lottery I would quit my job and either 1) build my own barn and board horses for people or 2) open up a coffee shop. But that would be after I traveled for a couple months!
6. There are some people in my life that I wish I could dump, like a bad boyfriend. But I don't think you can do that with friends...so I'm trying to slowly phase them out. They are just draining to hang out with!
7. This blog was a secret from anyone I knew until yesterday... Welcome Carlye and Jenni....just don't tell anyone else...I like having my secrets :)
8. Since meeting my husband, my personality has completely changed, but in a good way. I used to get upset over the smallest, stupidest things and now I let a lot of that roll off my back. While I am still not the worlds most laid back person, I would have to say meeting him lowered my blood pressure by a lot :)
9. I can't wait for September 25th ;)
I'll try and be back tomorrow with Day 8! Have a good day!

Ten Days: Day One!
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now!
1. To people driving on the freeway: Use a FREAKING blinker!!!
2. To the food vendors at the State Fair: Watch out! I'm coming tomorrow!
3. To my body: Please don't gain too much weight from the food I plan on eating tomorrow!
4. To my coworker: Take a shower more than 2x a week...you stink.
5. To Tim McGraw: You better have some super tight pants on tomorrow....we would appreciate that ;)
6. To my friends that already have babies: Stop asking when we are going to have one! Just b/c you had one, doesn't mean that I need to tell you every detail of my sex life and immediately tell you if I am trying to get knocked up! Grr.....
7. To the sour cream and onion chips I ate this morning at 8am: You were DELISH! ;) (They WERE baked ;))
8. To the company I work for: Can we please have every Friday off?
9. To my husband: Don't miss me too much tomorrow when I am off having a girls night at the fair and the Tim McGraw concert...I love you, but I won't miss you!
10. To my husband: I love you so much! You are the best hubby in the whole world and I will never be able to tell you or show you how much you mean to me.:)

Ten Days
Since I am clearly in a huge blogging slump I stole this idea from Michelle over at See Michelle Blog.I thought it was a great idea and hopefully can get me to blog a little more!!
Over the next 10 days, blog about the items on this list:
Day One: Ten things you want to say to ten different people right now.
Day Two: Nine things about yourself.
Day Three: Eight ways to win your heart.
Day Four: Seven things that cross your mind a lot.
Day Five: Six things you wish you’d never done.
Day Six: Five people who mean a lot (in no order whatsoever)
Day Seven: Four turn offs.
Day Eight: Three turn ons.
Day Nine: Two smileys that describe your life right now.
Day Ten: One confession
My Day One will start later today and since I don't blog on days that I don't work it will continue next week Monday thru Thursday and then continue the following week. Day Ten will be September 10th.
Thanks Michelle for this great idea! :)

Lack of Motivation!
Hello there! Long time, no write...
I have had zero motivation lately. All I want to do is go home and nap. Luckily, I have been forcing myself to at least go for a walk or a run whenever I am at home in the evenings. And the other evenings I am at my mom's house riding my horse.
So yeah....on Tuesday I went to my first movie by myself. Prettylame exciting huh?? ;) I went to see Eat, Pray, Love. I read the book and I really enjoyed it so I wanted to see the movie. Husband was at the MN Twins game with some work people so I decided to go on a date by myself. I actually had fun...its kind of liberating to go to a movie by yourself...Anyway...The movie was good. I don't think it was as deep as the book, but still entertaining. And Julia Roberts could just stand in front of the camera and do nothing, and I would probably be entertained. I love her... :) The movie did make me want to go to Bali though, that place looks amazing! Oh, and her second husband who she met in Bali looks NOTHING like Javier Bardem...but he was fun to look at, and listen to in the movie!
Here are some pictures of the real versus movie people....

Weekend recap...I am a slacker
Hey ladies!! Sorry I am such a slacker lately. I have been reading and trying to comment I just haven't had much to say lately...
So yeah...my weekend.
I ran my first 5k! Yay :) It wasn't all that bad! I ran the entire thing which was my first goal, so go me! And my second goal, which I ALMOST achieved, was to finish in under 36 minutes. I finished in 36:17. I know, I am a slow runner, but I really hate running. And I finished so I was excited about that!!
Then we spent the next 14 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday painting! Whoo hoo. I have been BEGGING the husband to paint the house for the last, oh, 3 years....We had a couple "accent walls" but mainly it was the same boring white color on most of the walls since he moved in. The walls were boring, and scratched up and so gross looking. So we painted. We had picked out a color from the Home Depot but we wanted to get the zero VOC paint so we went looking at Sherwin Williams for something...And found a great color that was 0 VOC and 40% off! How can you beat that?!?!
So we went home and started cleaning the walls...that took a good chunk of time, and then we taped everything we wanted to get done that day and then finally started painting. In our townhome the main level has the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen all kind of together so we did all three of those rooms. It was a long project but we finished and it looks great!!
Oh, when I say we finished...I just mean what we finished what we started last weekend. We still have a ton of painting to do!! And we have some REALLY high ceilings so we might actually hire someone to do those...we don't want to stand precariously on a ladder trying to do it.
So yeah...I have no pictures of anything I did over my weekend...so I am sorry for the wordy post. Boring, I know.
I will try and update this thing more...But I have been so tired and not doing a lot...So I have nothing exciting to share. Sorry
I hope ya'll are having a great week!!
