25 Weeks

I'm extremely bored at work today, and I don't feel like doing anything...even this. So I'm sorry this is lame :)
Oh, and thanks for everyone's input last week on our trip. We are going to go somewhere, but we haven't decided where to yet. We are thinking AZ. My doctor said it would be fine, but she recommended trip insurance just in case.

Maternity clothes:
Yes. I think its time to retire my regular shirts before they get too stretched out!

Sleep:
On the weekends its fine, but during the week it sucks. I almost wish it were the other way around b/c I can barely keep my eyes open at work.
.
Movement:
Oh yeah, this kid is a mover and a shaker :)

Food cravings:
Well it was chocolate until I OD'ed on Christmas goodies!

Food aversions:
Not much...

Gender:
Still leaning toward girl, but who knows.

What I'm looking forward to:
Weirdly enough our first birthing class on January 8-9th.
.
What I miss:
Sleeping on my back.

Milestones:
According to all the books at 25 weeks this babe would have a pretty good chance of surviving if he/she decided to come early. But, he/she better not!!!

At the ultrasound last week the tech was able to get all the pictures she needed, and I asked for a profile shot but the baby was still uncooperative. And he/she is still breech! The little bugger better flip in the next ten weeks or so. I really don't want to worry about that. I might have to start researching tips on getting the babe to flip :)

24 Weeks

Maternity clothes:
Maternity pants, regular shirts, but gradually adding in more maternity shirts. The maternity shirts are at least making me look a little more pregnant!

Sleep:
Ok. But the last three nights I have gotten up every 2-2.5 hrs to pee. So frustrating.
.
Movement:
Oh yeah, this kid is a mover and a shaker :)

Food cravings:
Nothing really that stands out.

Food aversions:
Nothing.

Gender:
Who knows?

What I'm looking forward to:
My ultrasound tomorrow!
.
What I miss:
Sleeping on my back.

Milestones:
Being done with school. Being 24 weeks, I don't know but it seems like a big damn deal :) I have my glucose screening tomorrow at my appointment as well as another ultrasound since the babe was not cooperating last time. I hope we can get a profile shot of the little bugger this time!

So I have a question for anyone who has been pregnant...we might go on a mini-vacation in February. I will be 31 weeks. Will this be miserable for me? It will include a plane ride. I think I will be fine, I sit all day at work so the sitting thing shouldn't be an issue (on the plane). And I have been trying to remain active so I am hoping that helps too. Give me your opinions please :)
I said this last week...but I will try and post a pic tonight or tomorrow. :)

23 weeks

Wow! I am beginning my 6th month. Crazy!! I am now done with school so I am super excited to be able to concentrate on baby-related stuff :) And the holidays of course!

Maternity clothes:
Maternity pants, regular shirts, but gradually adding in more maternity shirts. I went to Motherhood Maternity on Friday and got a sweater, a dress, some leggings, and a pair of dress pants. It was fun, but I spent too much money. Oh, and TMI...but I bought new bras and I was appalled at the size. I'll leave it at that :)

Sleep:
Pretty good except when the snow removal people decide to shovel at 2 in the morning.
.
Movement:
Tons!! Don felt the babe kick really hard on Saturday night. It was awesome :)

Food cravings:
Anything sugary.

Food aversions:
Nothing.

Gender:
Still no clue. I go back and forth almost daily.

What I'm looking forward to:
Christmas :) And my next ultrasound on the 21st (next Tuesday!)
.
What I miss:
Sleeping on my back. I often wake up laying on my back and have to roll over and it makes me sad!

Milestones:
Being done with school. And Friday after we finished our presentation I was sitting there listening to the other presentations and thinking about all the baby stuff I can do now...and I had the terrible realization that this child has to COME OUT OF MY BODY. I laughed about it later, but seriously....the anxiety is kicking in!

I will post a picture later, or tomorrow. I don't take them until Monday evening, so if you really care about what I am looking like, you will have to wait! :)

Belly Pic Week 22

Here is the picture of my stomach in all its largeness :) (I cropped it b/c my smile looked stupid...)

And for a comparison....18 weeks

Look at these two together is an eye opener for me considering I don't really feel like I have grown much...Yikes.

22 Weeks

I am having a hard time grasping the fact that I am over half way through this pregnancy, that Christmas is only 18 days away and that we are almost into 2011. Where did the year go??

Maternity clothes:
Maternity pants, regular shirts.

Sleep:
Pretty good.
.
Movement:
Kicking me as I type. I try and get Don to feel it but he is too impatient to leave his hand on my stomach for more than a minute. :)

Food cravings:
Diet Coke, if that counts. But I keep it to a minimum. Yes, I still drink it occasionally (don't judge) and it is like drinking a little slice of heaven.

Food aversions:
Nothing.

Gender:
I have no clue. I call it he most of the time just b/c I don't like calling it "it"

What I'm looking forward to:
Friday. I will be done with school for a very long time after Friday. 10 years, 4 schools, and an AA degree later, I will have my Bachelor's degree.
Not baby related, but I don't care right now!
.
What I miss:
Sleeping on my back.

Milestones:
We got the rest of our furniture in, but the dresser had a chunk missing out of one of the feet. We called the store and they had us email a picture to them which they emailed to the vendor. We will find out soon if they are going to replace it, or give us a discount. Luckily, the chunk that had broke off was in the box and we could glue it on if we wanted to....but the discount they offer better be pretty substantial b/c we paid a lot for the dresser, it should be flawless.

I will take a picture tonight and post it tomorrow. I always take the pic on Monday nights, so I want it to be up to date :)
