Hello!

Wow, its been a while! I didn't really realize that I haven't posted anything since Thanksgiving...Oops!
So what's new....
Obviously we celebrated our first Christmas with Lizzy! It was so much fun to see her with presents. She loved ripping into the paper, and was much more excited about the paper and boxes than what was inside.
This is my little family on Christmas Eve.

This is the gift that Don and I got Lizzy for Christmas. We had to take the legs off for a bit b/c she wasn't too stable but I put them back on about 3 days ago b/c she is standing on everything and even starting to cruise along the furniture.
This was her first, first Christmas with my dad's side of the family. She loved opening presents :)

We also took her to our photographers house to see Santa. She didn't love that.

Someone started to pout and then she broke down crying. It wasn't pretty, but the pictures are awfully cute :)
While going through pictures I realized that she has a tendency to make this face when I take pictures. She laughs a lot. I love it :)

For New Year's Eve we went to Duluth with some friends. We got two suites that were adjoined and stayed in on NYE, ate a lot of food, and played games. It was a lot of fun. Sunday after New Year's we went to the aquarium, and took Lizzy swimming in the pool. It was her first pool experience. She wasn't thrilled but she got used to it after a while. She would splash but would cry when the chlorine got in her eyes. She better get used to the pool b/c we are starting a water babies class this Saturday. I am excited :)

We usually go to the Como Park Conservatory on New Year's Day but since we were in Duluth we went on Christmas Eve. It was a little harder to get a picture this year with a babe who doesn't look at the camera when you tell her too :) (And yes, these are clearly out of chronological order, but I am too lazy to fix it!)

And I know I already mentioned that Lizzy is pulling up on everything and cruising along furniture, but she is also crawling. She seriously can crawl so fast when she wants something, its so funny. I love having a mobile baby b/c she is so much happier! She loves being able to get to what she wants, when she wants. She also figured out how to get into a sitting position by herself around the first of the year. She could sit by herself before, but getting into that position was something we had to help her with. It is so nice that she can do it by herself....except that she does it in her crib now when she should be sleeping. Sometimes I will even go in there and she will be standing up looking at me. Not cool.

My kid is still not sleeping through the night either. What can ya do? We have been battling colds, ear infections, and teeth. She now has four teeth, the last of which really bothered her. She slept all the way through the night for about a week before Christmas. Then she got another double ear infection, a nasty cold, and the tooth. Its been fun. She also graduated to the middle infant room at daycare last week. She was getting a little too mobile for the little infant room. She would crawl over to the littler kids and steal their nuks or crawl all over them. Poor little things.

As for me. I have high hopes for this year. I am down 60 lbs since I started WW in 2009 (there was a pregnancy in there where I gained 41 lbs. I have since lost all that plus 18.) I wanted to get to my goal weight by Lizzy's first birthday. That would leave me 12.5 weeks to lose 22 lbs. I am really struggling right now. I keep going down 1-3 lbs, then back up 2-4 lbs. Its not working too well. So I am going to see what I can do by April 16th, but if I can get down 15lbs by then I will be happy. I try and get to the gym 2 times a week, once during the week and once on the weekends. I also try and work out at home with a video at least 2 times a week. Its hard with a baby! But I'm doing what I can.
I turn 30 this year. Yikes.
I will have a ONE YEAR OLD this year. Yikes. I can't believe she has now been outside more than she was inside! :)
So yeah...that's about all that I have got going on. Life with a babe is hectic and boring all at the same time. I love it though!
Thanks to anyone who is still reading!
